Custom Cabinets
for cabinet makers
Melpax Trade manufactures customised cabinets (cut, drilled & edged carcass, doors & panels) for cabinet makers and other cabinet professionals. We run two Biesse flatbed CNC routers (3618, 3612) & a Holzher edge bander with pre-milling, which together produce a high quality finish on carcass and door/panel material, including sensitive materials like veneers and gloss. We are flatpack only, and can deliver locally on our 2.4 x 1.2 tray ute.
Good communication is key
Whether you run a big operation or a weekend side hustle isn’t important to us. What matters is how well we align in terms of our ability to work together and communicate effectively. We keep carcass and white satin in stock, and order colour board as required from Polytec, Laminex, Nikpol, Timberwood & Co. You can also supply your own material if you prefer.
How we work
Producing accurate orders is very important to us, so getting the details from you in a clear and predictable format is key. Our list-based order form (electronic) is easy to use and allows our clients to specify as much detail as they need to for us to produce the cabinets and panels required for their job. If you’re not too computer savvy, we’re more than happy to get your computer set up and fill out the form together until you get the hang of it. The way we see it, it’s worth investing the time up front to get things right to minimise issues down the track.
Orders are emailed to sales@melpax.com.au with supporting drawings (if needed).
Pricing is by the sheet, either supplied, cut & edged or cut & edge only (supplied by you).
